2019's Resurrection Pageant About

The Resurrection Pageant is a 2 and 1/2 hour walk-through drama that portrays the greatest Story ever told.  Immerse yourself in the Old Jerusalem Marketplace.  Sit and watch Christ’s triumphal entry, interaction with the children, and miraculous healings.  Stand transfixed at His trial, crucifixion and glorious resurrection!  Costumed actors quickly lead us through the story, complete with live animals and music.  The whole event is handicap accessible.  Tickets are required but are free.  Tour groups embark on the campus of Southwestern Adventist University every hour and fifteen minutes to begin the journey.  Happens rain or shine.  Don’t miss this spectacular event for the whole family!

Nearly all online pageant tickets have been reserved.  However, we often have no-shows, so please come and attend.  We aim to fit everyone in that we can.  We have never had to turn people away.  We look forward to seeing you and your family!

“But the LORD’s faithful love is from forever ago to forever from now for those who honor him. And God’s righteousness reaches to the grandchildren”

Psalm 103:17 (CEB)

Forever Family,

We have begun two important projects for our church:

  1. Building a much needed gymnasium for Keene Adventist Elementary School
  2. Replacing the air conditioning units in the Keene Church Sanctuary.

Both projects have been discussed for many years and with the Lord’s guidance, we are moving forward!  We ask for your financial support for these projects.  Our prayer is that we do not have to borrow any funds for these projects.

To make it easy, you can securely donate to the Keene Church and selecting the “Sanctuary AC Project” or “KAES New Gymnasium Project” on Adventist Giving.

About Us

During its 123 year history, the Keene Church has grown from sixty-seven charter members to now serve as the church home for more than 2,900. Additionally, over the years a large number of former members have moved to other communities to help plant and grow more than 10 new congregations in Johnson County. We continue to pray that God will expand His kingdom in this community.
